My book 100% dedicated to toddler sleep!

After months and months of scientific investigation, collecting testimonials, writing and proofreading, I’m delighted to announce the release in bookshops of my book 100% dedicated to the sleep of young children, published by Dunod!

At what age do children really sleep through the night?
How can you help them fall asleep?
What are the most common causes of sleep problems?

In this book, I’ve put together the most frequently asked questions that young parents have about their child’s sleep. In the form of practical factsheets, I have provided answers based on the latest scientific knowledge. In this book, on the cutting edge of sleep science and child psychology, I decipher our young children’s nights with humor and kindness, sweep away the many preconceived ideas and offer invaluable advice.

I wrote THE book I would have liked to have read myself as an ex-young-mother-who-didn’t-make-her-nights when my eldest daughter was born:

  • accessible to all (you don’t need a 25-year degree in sleep science to get something out of it)
  • based exclusively on scientific research (I’ve gone through a lot of studies for your benefit!)
  • combining solid data on both sleep itself and the psychology of young children (in many cases, it’s one or the other)
  • decentered from our strict Western culture (as you’ll see, scientific research on sleep has a decisive cultural bias that it’s essential to nuance in order to relax)
  • combining theoretical data and practical approaches validated by science, respectful of the child’s needs AND based on chronobiological findings (no more 5-10-15 method and other terrors) 😴
  • structured in the form of question chapters that you can read independently of each other (which is better suited to the mental workload of young parents, especially if they’re sleep-deprived 🥴!).
  • funny (because I think a little derision and joie de vivre make any reading/writing more enjoyable!)

To top it all off, this book is prefaced by the formidable Catherine Guéguen and mischievously illustrated by the sparkling Clémentine Lantron!
